The next generation of software will not be built by massive teams moving slowly.
It will be built by small, fast-moving teams capable of turning ideas into working systems in days — sometimes hours.
Base41 Hackathon was created around that mindset.
Organized by puq.ai in collaboration with KOU Technopark, Kocaeli Chamber of Industry and Kocaeli University Software Club, Base41 is a 48-hour high-intensity building environment designed for developers, designers, engineers and ambitious builders who want to create real products under real constraints.
This is not a theoretical competition.
This is a live production sprint.
From May 15–17, 2026, participants will gather at the KOU Technopark and spend 48 uninterrupted hours building scalable, testable and presentable products around predefined real-world scenarios.
The objective is simple: Ship something real.
Why Base41?
The technology industry has fundamentally changed.
Today, execution speed matters more than presentation decks.
Product thinking matters more than isolated technical ability.
And the teams that win are the ones capable of combining AI, automation and engineering into fast-moving production systems.
Base41 was designed to simulate exactly that environment.
Participants will work under real deadlines, make rapid product decisions, validate ideas quickly and build systems that actually function — not just concepts designed for slides.
Because modern engineering is no longer about writing code line by line. It’s about orchestrating intelligence, infrastructure and automation into working products.
Built Around AI-Native Product Development
What makes Base41 different is the production stack behind it.
Powered by puq.ai, participants will have access to an AI-native workflow and automation environment designed to accelerate modern product development.
The experience is centered around:
- AI-powered rapid product building
- Autonomous workflows and intelligent automation
- Connected systems and scalable integrations
- Fast iteration cycles
- Real-time execution and deployment thinking
Instead of spending hours configuring infrastructure, participants can focus on what actually matters:
Building products users would want to use.
This is the same shift happening across the global software ecosystem right now — moving from manual operations to AI-orchestrated systems. Base41 brings that environment directly into the hackathon experience.
What Happens in 48 Hours
Over the course of two days, teams will move through the full product creation cycle:
- Understanding the problem
- Designing the product experience
- Building functional systems
- Integrating AI and automation layers
- Testing under time pressure
- Presenting a working product
Participants are encouraged to think beyond prototypes. The goal is not to create mockups. The goal is to build products that feel alive.
Who Should Join
Base41 is designed for people who love building.
Including:
- Software engineers
- AI developers
- Designers
- Product thinkers
- Startup builders
- Students interested in modern software systems
- Anyone curious about the future of AI-native product development
You do not need a perfect idea before arriving.
You need curiosity, speed and the willingness to build.
Come solo or with your team.
